Cities Begin Charging Fees For 911 Emergency And Ambulance Services

Cities in California as well as other parts of the country are charging fees for their Emergency Medical Services to make up for the financial shortages. Residents are being billed for thousands of dollars for 5-10 mile rides. One resident, Myleen Chepin, owes more than $13,000 for two calls to EMS.
