Frequent Flyers: Ambulance abuse costly, wasteful, risks lives

Frequent flyers are people that call 911 for just about anything and everything. Last year in the Syracuse area, it was reported that there were certain frequent flyers that were carried by ambulance up to 50 times last year. There are people that may have life-threatening calls in danger because these EMTs are not able to go service them. These misusers are not feeling the financial struggle of the ambulance rides because insurance is covering most of them. They should be penalized for the ridiculous calls. Certain states recognize these callers and are refusing to take them to the hospital without good reason. For more of this article, Click Here.
