10 Tips for a Better Interview

“Learn some simple ways to improve your communication with patients”
Communication between the medic and patient is essential, but can also be tough when the patient is in physical or mental pain. The precise questions have to be asked. Here are some guidelines to follow when dealing with a patient.
1. Establish rapport
Patients give out private information with the medic based on trust over time. Rapport is best made by providers who are confident and professional, and who take the time to converse with the patient.
2. Respect patient privacy
If there are other people around, do not ask very private questions because you probably will not get the truthful answer. If the patient feels that the medic does not show consideration for their privacy, they will lose trust in the medic.
