Viewer Photo – Gas Well Fire on I-10

There have been numerous accidents (16 and counting) on the stretch of US 190 in Pointe Coupee as a result of the gas well fire in Ramah. Because of the well fire, traffic is being diverting from I-10 to US 190. Air Med takes the first serious accident patient from the diversion to the Lake. According to reports, interstate 10 is expected to be re-opened on Thursday - Thanksgiving.
